Media Buyer

Matcha Ventures is a founder-led portfolio of fast-growing travel, consumer, lifestyle, and education brands. We build conversion-first products — deal platforms, alert services, membership funnels — and grow them with disciplined paid acquisition. We operate across global markets, run meaningful daily ad budgets, and live and die by ROAS, CPA, and LTV/CAC.

We move fast, test relentlessly, and give the people who own a channel the room to actually own it.

The role

We're looking for a hands-on Media Buyer to take the wheel on paid social across our portfolio. You'll own campaigns end to end — from account structure and budget allocation to producing the creative, testing it, scaling, and reporting — primarily on Meta, with room to expand into other channels. You won't be waiting on a design queue; you'll be making the ads you run.

This isn't a "set it and forget it" seat. You'll be managing real budgets across multiple brands and markets, and your decisions will move the P&L week to week.

What you'll do

  • Plan, launch, and manage Meta campaigns across several brands and markets, owning daily budgets and pacing
  • Concept and produce ad creative — static, video, and copy — and ship a steady volume of new variations to test
  • Build and iterate CBO/ABO structures and decide where each belongs
  • Run a structured creative-testing framework — hypotheses, naming conventions, clean read-outs — and feed winners into scaling
  • Scale profitable campaigns without blowing up CPA, and know when to pull back
  • Manage audience strategy, including targeting, exclusions, and overlap across the portfolio
  • Track and react to platform changes (e.g. attribution and reporting shifts) and what they mean for true performance
  • Analyze results against ROAS, CPA, and subscription economics (LTV, retention, payback), and report clearly to founders
  • Work closely with creative and product on landing pages, funnels, and upsell flows so the whole acquisition path is optimized — not just the click

What we're looking for

  • 2–4+ years of hands-on media buying with a track record of profitable scaling
  • Deep, practical Meta Ads expertise — you've run real budgets and can explain exactly why a campaign worked or didn't
  • Fluency in CBO/ABO structures, creative testing, and audience strategy
  • Ability to produce your own ad creative — comfortable with design and video tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut, or similar) and writing scroll-stopping ad copy
  • Strong analytical instincts: comfortable in spreadsheets, attribution windows, and unit economics — you reason from numbers, not vibes
  • Familiarity with subscription and/or funnel-based businesses (cohorts, churn, LTV/CAC)
  • Self-directed and accountable — you don't need to be told to check the dashboard

Nice to have

  • Experience in travel, DTC, or other high-velocity consumer categories
  • Hands-on with Google Ads and/or TikTok
  • Multi-market / multi-language campaign experience
  • Stronger creative chops — motion/video editing, hooks, or a portfolio of ads you've made that performed
