AI Performance Marketing Architect

At Matcha Ventures, we build digital products the way ceremonial matcha is made: carefully sourced, finely ground, whisked with intention. Every detail matters. Every shade of green counts.

We're a venture studio behind a portfolio of travel, lifestyle & education brands reaching customers around the globe. We're looking for an AI Performance Marketing Architect to own the daily rhythm of getting our products in front of the right people, profitably — and to design the system that scales it.

Today: $10M+ ARR across the portfolio. Our 5-year target: $2B.

And this isn't our first run at it. Our team has a proven track record of bootstrapping businesses from zero to $100M in revenue — no outside capital, just product, distribution, and disciplined execution. Now we're doing it again, faster, with a thesis about what's changed:

Producing static ads, video, and UGC is no longer a team sport.

What used to require a designer, a videographer, an editor, a copywriter, and a media buyer can now be done by one sharp operator with the right AI stack. We're looking for that operator.

The role: one human, full stack

You'll own the entire performance loop end-to-end — concept, creative, buying, optimization — across our portfolio. No briefing chains. No "waiting on design." No handoffs. You think it, you make it, you ship it, you buy against it, you read the result, you do it again tomorrow.

What you'll actually do

  • Generate creative at volume — static ads, motion, UGC-style video, voiceovers, hooks — using AI as your production team
  • Daily media buying — launch, monitor, scale, kill. Live inside Meta Ads Manager (plus TikTok and Google as we expand)
  • Run creative testing frameworks — angle × hook × format, shipped weekly at minimum
  • Architect accounts — CBO/ABO structure, audience strategy, budget scaling, Andromeda-aware setups
  • Close the loop — connect ad spend to funnel performance, LTV, and P&L

The long-term mission: build the engine

The daily reps are the entry point — not the destination. The real mission of this role, and what makes it different from every other media buyer job on the market, is to build something we believe hasn't been built yet:

An AI-orchestrated performance creative and media buying engine — one operator plus AI delivering the output of 100 humans.

Year one, you run it. Year two and beyond, you systematize it: the workflows, the agents, the prompt libraries, the creative production lines, the buying logic. Every script you write, every workflow you build, every prompt you tune becomes leverage that compounds.

This isn't a media buyer job. It's a founding role in building Matcha's growth engine — the system that takes us from $10M to $2B.

The AI stack we give you

This isn't a "figure it out yourself" setup. We invest in the tools so you can move at the cadence the role demands:

  • Creatify.ai — UGC and AI avatar video at scale
  • Manus AI — autonomous task execution and research
  • ChatGPT (image gen + GPT-4 class models) — visuals, copy, ideation
  • Claude — strategy, structured analysis, ad copy, briefs
  • Gemini — long-context research, multimodal analysis, fast iteration
  • Plus whatever else gets added to the stack as the space evolves — and it evolves weekly

If a new tool drops on Tuesday and it's better than what we use, we're using it by Friday.

You'll thrive here if you

  • Have 2+ years buying meaningful daily budgets on Meta and can show us what worked and what didn't
  • Are already AI-native — not curious about AI tools, fluent in them. Prompt engineering is muscle memory
  • Think in systems, not just campaigns — you instinctively look for what can be automated, templated, or delegated to AI
  • Have strong opinions about hooks, scroll-stopping creative, and what makes UGC actually convert
  • Live in spreadsheets and dashboards — CTR, CPM, CPA, ROAS aren't acronyms, they're your vocabulary
  • Move fast. If a test is dead by Wednesday, we kill it Wednesday

Nice to have

  • Travel, lifestyle, education, D2C, subscription, or marketplace experience
  • Hands-on experience with Meta's Conversions API and Entity IDs
  • Comfort with Figma, CapCut, or Premiere Pro for the moments AI can't quite get there
  • Experience building automations, workflows, or AI agent chains (n8n, Zapier, Make, custom)
